International Conference for Peace and Social Justice in a period of multiple crises

This conference convenes international political leaders, academics, and civil society voices to address global crises, regional conflicts, human rights, and progressive responses across multiple interconnected domains.

Among the distinguished participants will be renowned economist Thomas Piketty; former President of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile and former Minister of Defence Maya Allende; Senator and former President of Brazil’s Workers’ Party (PT) Humberto Costa; Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry; Vice President of the Centre for International Relations Matt Duss; President of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Sıla Usar İncirli; the Mayor of Nicosia Charalambos Prountzos; and the Turkish Cypriot leader of Nicosia Mehmet Harmanci. 

The conference will conclude with keynote interventions by AKEL General Secretary Stefanos Stefanou and former Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras.
