POLITICAL DECISIONS AND RESOLUTIONS KKK - AKEL

Important aspects of AKEL's history and activities are recorded in the party's texts and documents, which constitute valuable historical/archival material archival material, the public exhibition of which will be a useful and beneficial learning and study tool for both the people and the research community. With this in mind, the Prometheus Research Institute undertook to compile all the political decisions of all the conferences of the KKE-AKEL since 1926 and to edit their publication.

The information contained in these decisions is not merely informative. It includes a substantive analysis of the international and local historical context and places the party's actions within that context. This volume is, in essence, a reflection of the contemporary history of Cyprus, but also of the party itself. The reader follows the creation of a party under adverse conditions, its mode of action, the forms of organization it uses, and, above all, its analysis of the problems of the country and its people and its proposals.
